Friends Church Tokyo is a friendly bilingual church open to everyone and anyone who wants to have a deeper relationship with God.
They hold a weekly service on Sunday, Bible studies and other events throughout the week. Because everything is in both English and Japanese, they have both local believers and non-Japanese brothers and sisters in our church family.
Two of the ladies have made regular trips to the ministry in India and the Philippines to share their love of Jesus, musical talents, and kindness to the children. Friends Church provides opportunities for Japanese believers to share the gospel globally.
The Tokyo church contributed financially in a really sacrificial way when a child in the India congregation was born prematurely and needed medical care.
What's been accomplished:
1.
Baptized four non-believers, and sat with Bible study and counseling with multiple not-yet-Christians.
2.
Faithfully held weekly friendship dinners in a local believer's home, spreading the love of Jesus by meeting the social needs of our friends.
3.
Strengthened members’ faith and shared Christ with the friends through weekly Bible study at a nearby cafe that is open to everyone.
